Graduated Summa cum Laude in 1980 from the Loránd Eötvös University of Sciences Budapest, Faculty of Law.
Professional experiences:
Trainee lawyer from 1980 to 1983, subsequently attorney at law at the S.B.G. & K. Patent and Law Offices, Hungary s leading IP representation office.
Member of the Budapest Bar since 1983.
From 1999 Managing Partner of the Office and President of the Board.
2002 received Eötvös Károly Prize from the Presidency of the Budapest Bar Association
2008 received Prize for Competition Culture from the President of the Office for Economical Competition
Areas of specialisation:
25 years experience in IT-IP, trademark and copyright legal matters, representation of software companies and representation in Internet and competition law cases both in mediation and court procedures. Preparation of contracts, especially corporate purchases and license agreements, economic counselling.
Sector experience:
Arbitrator for cases involving Internet providers in Hungary, participation in arbitration and mediation trainings (WIPO and INTA) arbitator in .eu cases with the CAC (Czech Arbitration Court), the American Forum Institute, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce, case arbitrator in economic cases.
Memberships:
INTA, ADR Subcommittee, Chairman of LIDC Hungary, member of ECTA Legal Committee, AIPPI, ALAI. In Hungary: member of the Copyright Association, member of the Expert Council for the Protection of Industrial Property, Vice President of the Hungarian Trademark Association, Member of the Board of the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright, registered mediator with the Ministry of Justice.
