Patent law
The Patent Attorneys of our Office have extended experience concerning the procedures for obtaining legal protection on inventions created in all fields of the technical innovative process. This activity extends to counselling in the innovative process, preparation of Hungarian patent descriptions, including the same with the Hungarian Patent Office and representation, submitting international (PCT) and European patent applications, direct representation thereof. The activities of our Office also include representation and prosecution of foreign patent applications in Hungary, furthermore, validation of existing European Patents in Hungary. Our activities extend to the prosecution of the patent applications of our Hungarian and foreign Clients outside Hungary, as well, primarily before the European Patent Office, but also at any other countries authorities.

Utility model protection
Our activities extend to application of protection for such inventions, which may be protected as an alternative of the patent, by registered utility model protection. Utility model protection may primarily be acquired in the mechanical field.

Our Patent Attorneys have extended experience in the registration of industrial designs, both in Hungary and in the territory of the European Community, as Community design, furthermore, in the full representation and prosecution of international and other foreign industrial design applications.

Plant variety protection
A special service of our Firm, primarily for plant-growers and plant-breeders, is the preparation of applications for plant variety protection, which shall be distinguished from patents, additionally, their representation and application for their protection, on the basis of the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV).

Research and consultation
Our Patent Attorneys are ready to provide search reports and expert's opinions in any technical field, such as, in patent, utility model, industrial design issues, with special regard to the establishment, whether certain inventions or designs meet the requirements for protection. We prepare detailed opinions for our Clients concerning the freedom to operate products and/or technologies intended to be introduced in Hungary or in the European Union, especially to exclude the possibilities of infringements. We provide watch services for our Clients if necessary, in connection with the Hungarian appearance of specified protections or of protections of specified objects.

Enforcement and protection of industrial property rights
In case of infringement of patents, utility model protections, industrial designs and trademark protections, we represent our Clients in enforcing their existing property rights at the Hungarian Patent Office and the competent Hungarian courts, while we also represent our Clients in legal proceedings initiated by third persons on the basis of the above rights, including procedures for revocation of existing property rights and establishment of non-infringement procedures.
Maintenance of existing property rights
Our modern electronic registry system ensures safe and reliable services for the payment of the maintenance fees for the registered rights, if desired, connected with specific reminder system.
Portfolio management
The scope of activity of our Office covers the managing of the industrial property portfolios of companies, inter alia small and medium enterprises, including the continuous consultation in the innovative process.
Trade Marks
We provide various services relating to the registration of trademark protections, both in Hungary and in the territory of the European Community, in the form of community trademark, additionally, by the full services connected with international and other foreign trademark applications, as well as enforcement and protection of the existing property rights. Some of our special services are watching national and international publications, informing our Clients and filing oppositions, if needed. We provide our Clients with information about the terms of the renewal of protections and in case of instruction from the Client, we proceed with the renewals.

Voluntary register of works
Our Office participates in the registration process of such technical and/or intellectual works, for which no protection under the above categories of industrial property may be obtained, but the author wishes his person and the priority of the work to be registered in the list of the Hungarian Patent Office.
